The excitement around here is building as our new tower is almost complete. The structure has been erected, the pinnacle placed, and now the outside is getting a new suit of stone. We have worked hard to create an authentic version of bell towers seen all over Croatia and the Mediterranean. Depending on which way you approach the Village, it is the first thing you see.
I know many of you have asked Donna and me to keep you updated on how the project is coming along, so we've created this e-mail newsletter to keep you informed. It goes along with our brand new website, so feel free to view the links and make yourself familiar with all the letter and the website have to offer. As we continue, we'll add more information in an effort to satisfy both your curiosity, and hopefully your need to find a place to live, shop, work, or play!

Our New Website is A Living Masterpiece
Every day people want to know what is going on here at Adriatica. Since this project is so unique, everybody wants to see it and learn about it. Adriatica might be McKinney's best kept secret, but not for long. As we go, we'll be adding stories and pictures, but hopefully you'll see just enough to fall in love with the place. It won't take much.
Samson's is Open!
The final touches have been placed on Adriatica's new restaurant called Samson's, named after the Biblical character. Chefs Germano and Samuele Minin have come from Italy bringing their culinary skills to the village. With tastes from Italy, France, Greece and others, dining at Samson's is like taking a Mediterranean cruise. Enjoy the atmosphere inside, or see how comfortable our heated patio is year-round. Now serving lunch and dinner. Visit their website to see their menu and hours of operation.
Bell Tower Nearly Complete
The Bell Tower at Adriatica is the literal pinnacle of the village. Modeled after an existing tower in Supetar, Croatia, the tower's three bells near the top of the 128 ft. structure will ring whenever there is an important event such as a wedding. The bells are currently being manufactured by the same small family of craftsmen that made the bells in the original, Croatian tower more than a century ago.
